The Grand Hotel was very comfortable and a nice reminder of what hotels used to be like. It is very conveniently located to the train station and Old Town. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast quite satisfying. Staff were friendly and helpful, taking care of a faulty door lock quite promptly.

Reception was warm and friendly. We were upgraded to a larger room which was lovely. Centrally located. Great pool. Would recommend. All staff were super friendly and helpful. We required additional information on restaurants and tours, nothing was too much trouble.

Spacious room with good AC. Quiet also. The bathroom smells of sewer, but there is a window you can open. The TV did not work the first day. Then they fixed it but could not watch because at the lowest volume level it was so loud they could hear it from the street. Good breakfast and great staff. Staff was wonderful ! TV only has very very loud volume or mute. So unwatchable. The big turn off that keeps it from being a 5 star property is the stained, soiled and threadbare carpeting.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff courteous. The breakfast was varied with savoury and sweet options. The pool was gorgeous and had lots of loungers . The hotel is ideally placed for the train and bus and within easy walking of Lecce centre. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location as we trundled out of the train station. As we were early for check in, we were kindly allowed to leave our luggage there so we could check out the town. Room and bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ok. Reception staff were wonderfully helpful and always super polite. Definitely can recommend.

Old world Hotel. Beautiful..very inkeeping of the area in Lecce. If you want bells whistles and flute modern it's not for you. Olde world charm. High vaulted ceilings. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Excellent breakfast. Staff really helpful polite and caring. Well situated for easy walking right around Lecce. Will definitely be sending friends to enjoy it also. Added advantage of being yards away from the superb train station with links to all Italy.

The Grand hotel is sadly faded and would not take much to improve. The hotel itself is well past its glory days and has so much potential. Great location and pool area is wonderful but the rooms are dated, and the carpet is disgusting. Stained and worn. I have never seen such awful carpet in a hotel anywhere in the world.
